Auditorium Chair and Renovation Project
Help Us Update the Auditorium Chairs and Carpeting
As we look ahead to 2026, we have a special milestone to celebrate — the 39th anniversary of the building of our church home and 41 years since our charter service. For four decades, this building has been a place where God’s people have gathered to worship, grow, serve, and rejoice together. Within these walls, the Lord has been faithful through every season — calling generations to faith, nurturing families, and sending out His people in service.
The psalmist reminds us, “One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4). That is exactly what we have seen at First Baptist Church of Gypsum — one generation declaring God’s goodness to the next. As we look to the future, we want to ensure that this sacred space continues to be a place where future generations will worship and experience the grace of God.
As we prepare for this exciting anniversary, we want our sanctuary to reflect the same spirit of renewal and gratitude that fills our hearts. After many years of faithful use, our carpet and chairs are showing their age, and it’s time to replace them. Our goal is to refresh the sanctuary so that it remains a warm, welcoming, and beautiful space for worship for many years to come.
We’re inviting our members, attenders, and friends to prayerfully consider contributing toward this project. Every gift — large or small — will help us reach our goal and prepare our church home for the next generation of ministry.
As we look back with gratitude and look forward in faith, we’re reminded of Psalm 100:5 — “For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” What a blessing it is to celebrate all that God has done, and to invest together in what He will continue to do through First Baptist Church of Gypsum.
Thank you for your faithful partnership in the ministry of this church. Your generosity helps make possible the worship, fellowship, and outreach that happen here each week — and now, it will also help us prepare our building to serve well for the next 40 years and beyond.
