Lord’s Supper
Join First Baptist Church on May 31 following the Morning Worship service as we observe the Lord’s Supper. This special time of communion is an opportunity for believers to remember and reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, give thanks for His saving grace, and prepare our hearts to honor and worship the Lord together.

Summer Intern
Welcome Our Summer Intern – Cooper Miller
We’re excited to welcome Cooper Miller to First Baptist Church as our Summer Intern during the week of July 20–26! Cooper is from Darien, Georgia, and is currently entering his senior year at Crown College of the Bible, where he is studying Pastoral Ministries. He is being sent out through Baptist Church Planting West and has a heart to learn more about ministry and church planting in the western United States.
During his time with us, Cooper will be serving alongside our church family, learning hands-on ministry, and assisting in various areas throughout the week. We’re thankful for the opportunity to encourage and invest in him as he prepares for future ministry.
Be sure to welcome Cooper when you see him and join us in praying that the Lord uses this summer to strengthen his burden for the work of the Gospel!
Church in the Mountains
Church in the Mountains
Join us for a special evening of worship, fellowship, and God’s creation at our annual Church in the Mountains gathering on Sunday, August 16th at beautiful Sylvan Lake State Park.
The day begins with our regular Sunday morning schedule at church:
Adult Bible Study & Sunday School — 9:30 AM
Morning Worship Service — 10:30 AM
Then we’ll head to the mountains for an evening together at our reserved group camp area. Guests are welcome to begin arriving anytime after 1:00 PM. A cookout meal will be served at 5:00 PM, followed by our outdoor worship service at 6:00 PM.
We have the campsite reserved for two nights, and everyone is welcome to stay overnight! There is room for both campers and tents, making it a great opportunity for fellowship, relaxation, and enjoying God’s creation together.
The main focus of the event will be the 5:00 PM meal and 6:00 PM worship service on Sunday evening. We would love for you and your family to join us!

Church Spring Cleaning Day
Church Spring Cleaning Day – April 12th at 10 AM!
Join us as we come together to freshen up First Baptist Church of Gypsum for the season! We’ll start at 10 AM and tackle some much-needed cleaning projects inside and out. Many hands make light work, so bring the whole family and enjoy a time of fellowship as we serve the Lord together. Lunch will be provided!
