Handing Out Gospel Tracts
/As Christians, it is our duty to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. One way we can do this is by handing out gospel tracts. Gospel tracts are small, printed materials that contain the message of salvation through faith in Jesus. Here are three reasons why handing out gospel tracts is an effective way to share the Gospel:
Gospel tracts are a simple, non-confrontational way to share the Gospel. In 1 Peter 3:15, we are told, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you." Gospel tracts allow us to share the hope that is in us with others in a way that is easy and non-confrontational.
Gospel tracts can be a starting point for further conversation. In Colossians 4:5-6, Paul writes, "Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." Handing out gospel tracts can open the door for further conversation about the Gospel, and we can be ready to speak with grace and wisdom about our faith.
Gospel tracts can reach people who may not otherwise hear the Gospel. In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus says, "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." By handing out gospel tracts, we can reach people who may not have the opportunity to hear the Gospel in any other way.
Handing out gospel tracts is a simple and effective way to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is a non-confrontational way to share our hope with others, can lead to further conversation about the Gospel, and can reach people who may not otherwise hear about Jesus. Let us be bold in our witness for Christ and consider handing out gospel tracts as one way to share the Gospel with the world. You can find tracts in the tract holder at church.
